Summer Coffee: More Than Iced Coffee
Coffee doesn't have to be hot in summer. Here are our favorite recipes for warm days.
Espresso Tonic
Fill a glass with tonic water and ice, slowly pour a double espresso over it. The tonic's bitterness harmonizes perfectly with the espresso.
Japanese Iced Coffee
Brew filter coffee directly over ice (V60 or Chemex). Half the water as ice in the carafe, the other half as hot water through the filter. Instantly cold, full flavors.
Affogato
Pour a fresh espresso over a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Simple, quick, irresistible.
Cold Brew Lemonade
Mix cold brew with fresh lemonade (1:1). Serve with ice cubes and a lemon slice.
Frozen Espresso
Blend a double espresso with ice cubes and a splash of milk. Optional: maple syrup or vanilla.
